We conduct NERC and ISO/RTO compliance-related technical analyses for renewable/energy storage projects interconnecting to North American transmission systems to comply with VRT/FRT requirements. QSA and As-Built PSCAD Model Development: Developing qualified system analysis (QSA) models and as-built representations using PSCAD software for accurate electromagnetic transient simulations, ensuring compliance with interconnection standards like those in ERCOT and NERC guidelines. Plant Controller Tuning: Adjusting and optimizing the parameters of power plant controllers (PPC) to handle the variable and fast-responding nature of renewable sources, ensuring grid stability, efficient operation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Model Quality Test and PSCAD, PSSE, and TSAT Model Benchmarking: Conducting model quality tests (MQT) to verify accuracy, including benchmarking against hardware measurements and across tools like PSCAD for EMT, PSSE for positive-sequence simulations, and TSAT for transient stability assessments.
